What Happens Over the Next Two Years

This is a big process! We have two years to lay out a vision for what we want Austin to be in the future and choose what path we take to get there. To make it manageable, we've broken it down into three phases. We just completed the first phase, "Plan Kickoff," in October 2009; the second phase, "Vision and Plan Framework," starts in November 2009, and the third phase, the Comprehensive Plan itself, will begin sometime in late 2010.

This process will focus on three key themes:
